Established in 1987, the HIS high school complex has ten classrooms, a library, a computer lab, a teachers' resource room, and administrative offices. The auditorium, the two sports facilities, and soccer field are shared with the elementary and middle school. Meals are brought up from local restaurants and students eat outside, al-fresco, in thatch-roofed pondoks. Student numbers are smallusually around 55and the fellowship is close.
The high school curriculum is college preparatory and based on a U.S. model. It generally includes Advanced Placement classes in European history, English, calculus, computer science, biology, and physics.
