International Day

Every third year, middle school and elementary classes spend weeks preparing for International Day: learning about their chosen country/civilization’s culture, government, clothing, food, and houses. Each class sets up visual and edible presentations of their country in their classroom. Some act out skits of duels or battles, others make posters, and still others make working models of technology invented in their country; everyone dresses up.
