The Curriculum

Because the majority of HIS students are from the United States, Hillcrest employs a curriculum derived from the U.S. system. However, students are able—and encouraged—to study their passport language in a classroom environment or as independent study, should a parent or teacher be available to supervise.

An Advanced Placement diploma is offered along with the U.S. one to assist American students looking for a head start on college as well as international students intending to get a college education in countries other than the U.S.

Because of the level of written and spoken English required in high school, the school will generally not admit high school students that do not have an adequate command of written and spoken English.
